Custom prompts in tasks

Enterprise Feature

Custom prompts allow you to use your saved prompt templates in tasks, ensuring consistent branding and style across all your automated poster generation. This feature is available for Enterprise tier users.

What Are Custom Prompts?

Custom prompts are reusable templates that you create and save in your account. They include:

  • Prompt Text: Your custom prompt template
  • Reference Images: Up to 10 images that guide the AI generation
  • Name: A descriptive name for easy identification

Using Custom Prompts in Tasks

To use a custom prompt in a task:

  1. Create or Select: Ensure you have a custom prompt saved. You can create one from Settings → Prompts or use an existing one.
  2. Select in Task Form: When creating a task, scroll to the "Select Type" dropdown and choose your custom prompt from the "Custom Prompts" section.
  3. Provide Input: Enter the subject/theme for your prompt (e.g., "McLaren P1", "Beach Cities", "Spicy Asian Dishes").
  4. Configure Other Settings: Set quantity, AI model, and destinations as usual.

How Custom Prompts Work in Tasks

When you use a custom prompt in a task:

  • Reference Images: All reference images attached to your custom prompt are automatically used during image generation
  • Minimal Prompt Mode: When reference images are present, the system uses a simplified prompt approach for better results
  • Consistent Style: All generated images follow your custom prompt's style
  • Template Reuse: The same prompt can be used across multiple tasks

Viewing Reference Images

When you select a custom prompt in the task creation form, you'll see:

  • A preview of all reference images attached to the prompt
  • The number of reference images that will be used
  • An option to edit the prompt (opens Settings → Prompts)

Click on any reference image to view it in full size. Reference images help guide the AI to match your desired style and aesthetic.

Best Practices

  • Test First: Create a small task (5-10 items) to test your custom prompt before running larger batches
  • Quality Reference Images: Use high-quality, clear reference images that represent your desired style
  • Consistent Input: Use similar input formats across tasks for consistent results
  • Update Prompts: Edit your custom prompts as needed—changes will apply to future tasks

💡 Pro Tip

Custom prompts with reference images work best when you provide clear, specific input. For example, "McLaren P1" works better than just "car" because it gives the AI more context to work with your reference images.
