Connecting Your Etsy Store
Complete integration guide to connect your Etsy shop with Artomate
Before connecting, make sure you have an active Etsy seller account, completed your Etsy store setup, and configured your delivery profiles.
Step 1: Connect with Etsy
Navigate to your Artomate dashboard and click the "Connect with Etsy" button. This will start the secure OAuth 2.0 authentication flow.
Step 2: Login
You'll be redirected to Etsy's secure login page. Sign in with your Etsy seller account credentials. Make sure you're using the account that owns the shop you want to connect.
Step 3: Authorize Account
Review and authorize Artomate to manage your listings. This uses Etsy's secure OAuth 2.0 authentication and follows industry-standard security practices.
Step 4: Done!
Your Etsy shop is now connected to Artomate! You can start creating and uploading AI-generated posters directly to your store.
Security & Privacy
Your data security is our top priority. We use Etsy's official OAuth 2.0 authentication system, which means:
- We never see or store your Etsy password
- You can revoke access at any time from your Etsy account settings
- All communication is encrypted with industry-standard SSL/TLS
- We only request the minimum permissions needed to function
What Permissions Are Required?
Artomate requires the following permissions to function:
- Listings Management: Create, update, and manage your poster listings automatically
- Shop Information: Read basic shop details to ensure proper integration
- Shipping Profiles: Access delivery profiles to apply correct shipping settings
Common Issues & Solutions
Connection fails or times out
This usually happens due to browser settings or popup blockers. Try disabling popup blockers for Artomate, clearing your browser cache and cookies, or using a different browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended).
Already connected but showing as disconnected
Your OAuth token may have expired. Simply reconnect using the same process.
Can't find my shop after connecting
Make sure you're connecting with the correct Etsy account that owns your shop.
