Monitoring task progress

Once you've created a task, you can monitor its progress in real-time. The task progress view provides detailed insights into each step of the pipeline.

Task Overview

The task progress page shows:

• Overall Progress: Percentage complete and progress bar
• Quick Stats: Total items, completed, failed, and pending counts
• Task Status: Current state of the entire task
• Task Items: Individual poster generation progress

Real-Time Updates

The task progress page automatically refreshes every 3 seconds while your task is running. You'll see updates as:

• New images are generated
• Mockups are created
• Listings are published to Etsy/Shopify
• Items complete or encounter errors

Viewing Generated Images

Click on any generated image thumbnail to open a full-screen modal where you can:

• View the AI-generated poster image
• Browse through all mockup images for that item
• Navigate between images using arrow keys or buttons
• Download images directly

The modal shows both the original AI image and all mockup variations. Mockups that are still processing will show a placeholder with a loading indicator.

Task Item Details

Each task item shows:

• Sequence Number: Order in which items are processed
• Location/Theme: The specific subject for this poster
• Status Badge: Current processing stage
• Progress Indicators: Checkmarks for completed steps
• Error Messages: If an item fails, the error is displayed
• Links: Direct links to Etsy/Shopify listings when published

Status Indicators

Each item shows its current status with color-coded badges:

• Pending: Waiting to start processing
• Generating Image: AI image is being created
• Creating Mockup: Mockup images are being generated (shows progress like "3/4")
• Posting to Etsy: Listing is being created (shows sub-steps like "Writing", "Uploading", "Publishing")
• Completed: All steps finished successfully
• Failed: An error occurred (can be retried)

Task Controls

While monitoring your task, you can:

• Cancel Task: Stop processing and delete the task (only while processing)
• Retry Failed Items: Restart failed items from the beginning
• Delete Task: Remove completed or failed tasks
