How do I update my billing details?

Learn how to update your billing address and contact information

Keeping your billing details up to date ensures smooth payment processing and accurate invoices. You can update your billing address, company name, tax information, and contact details through the Stripe Customer Portal.

Step 1: Navigate to Billing Settings

Log in to your Artomate account and click on your profile icon in the top right corner. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings". In the Settings sidebar, click on "Billing".

Step 2: Open the Customer Portal

On the Billing & Payments page, scroll down to the action buttons at the bottom of the Subscription Plan card. Click the "Manage Billing" button. This will open the Stripe Customer Portal in a new browser tab.

Note: The "Manage Billing" button may show "Opening..." briefly while the portal session is being created. The Stripe Customer Portal will open in a new tab automatically.

Step 3: Update Your Billing Details

In the Stripe Customer Portal, look for the "Billing information" or "Customer details" section. Here you can update:

  • Billing Address: Street address, city, state/province, postal code, country
  • Company Name: If applicable for business accounts
  • Tax ID/VAT Number: For tax-exempt or business accounts
  • Contact Email: Email address for billing communications
  • Phone Number: Contact number for billing inquiries

Step 4: Save Changes

After updating your information, review it carefully and click "Save" or "Update". Your changes will be applied immediately and will be used for all future invoices and billing communications.

Important Notes

  • Future Invoices: Updated billing details apply to all future invoices
  • Past Invoices: Past invoices cannot be modified but can be re-downloaded with updated information if needed
  • Tax Purposes: Ensure your billing address matches your payment method's billing address for accurate tax calculations
  • Automatic Updates: Changes made in the Stripe Customer Portal are immediately reflected in your account
